Intermediate Level Piano

One of the more crucial phases for learning piano develops during the intermediate stages of study.  During these years the student learns to move wider distances across the keyboard.  Increased athletic mastery at the keyboard grows. The student also understands music theory at a higher level.  Students at the intermediate level begin to learn more efficiently and effectively.  It is during this level that students participate in many performance festivals and competitions.
 

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR POTENTIAL TRANSFER STUDENTS

The Piano Academy of North Carolina works in cooperation with other piano teachers across the region and state.  Before being admitted to the academy, we require all transfer students to discuss with their current teacher the intent to transfer.
